This Friday we will be taking a Distance Learning Day to allow our students and staff time to travel to Pawhuska for the 1st Round of the OK HS FB Playoffs. No technology will be checked out since we have time for teachers to provide paper-pencil assignments.

FOOTBALL WEATHER UPDATE
We are moving the game time up for tomorrow to try to avoid a severe weather system expected to come into our area later in the evening. Kickoff will be at 6pm with Senior Night beginning at 5:30. Seniors and their parents will begin lining up at 5:15.

The Veterans Day Assembly will be held at Taylor Gym on Monday, November 11th at 9am. We invite the entire community to join us in honoring and expressing gratitude to our veterans for their service. Following the assembly, veterans and their guests are invited to the Elementary School, where veterans will be honored with a program at 10:30am in the Elementary Activity Center (gym). Hamburgers for Heroes will follow directly after the program.
Attention:
Buses will be running approximately 10 minutes earlier today to ensure all students and drivers arrive home safely in case there is another weather warning.
ANNOUNCEMENT
Students and staff have been moved into the on-campus storm shelters at this time. To keep ALL students and staff safe, we will not check any students out until we receive an ALL CLEAR from PCEM.
The Event Center is now open to the community for shelter. We will keep you updated when the Tornado Warning has been lifted.
Due to potential inclement weather this evening, there will be no After School Program (MELLO) today.
Attention - 5th and 6th Grade Basketball Update!
Due to the potential for bad weather we are speeding up the basketball games today at the Elementary Activity Center. Please be aware that games will start sooner than expected. Currently starting 5th grade girls game.
Elementary basketball parents...games will be going quicker than normal due to possible incoming weather. 4th boys are finishing up. 5th and 6th grade parents may want to make your way to the activity center at this time for games.
Senior Night for football, fastpitch softball, band, and cheer students will be this Friday, November 8, at 6:30 p.m. at the Butler-Jennings Field. Students should line up at 6:15 p.m. on the north side of the bleachers. Kickoff vs. Panama is at 7 p.m. Please come out and support the Class of 2025!

We kicked-off National Native American Heritage Month today with a Powwow at the DOME thanks to the Choctaw Nation, Project RISE, and Mr. Patrick Moore & Jones Academy. It was a wonderful celebration of Native American Heritage featuring traditional dancing and drumming. We are especially proud of our very own Sinte-ska Roberts, 8th grade Hartshorne Middle School & Jones Academy student who was one of the featured dancers today.
