Students: Letterman jackets are in and can be picked up between 9 a.m. and 12 p.m. on Friday, December 19. If you're unable to make it during these times, you can pick yours up after Christmas break.
JV and Varsity basketball games scheduled for Friday, Dec. 19, have been moved up to 2pm (JV) and 3:30pm (Varsity).
ATTENTION PARENTS, STUDENTS, AND STAFF:
HPS will release students early this Friday, December 19th, for Christmas Break. Elementary Buses will run at 1PM and MS/HS Buses will run at 1:05PM.
Blood Drive @ Hartshorne High School - Monday, December 15th from 9am-3pm
Our students put on a great Christmas Concert last night. Both the choir and band sounded fantastic, and we’re proud of all their hard work.
We also started a new tradition that means a lot to our music program. Our band director, Mr. Phelps, reserved a seat in memory of his father-in-law, Mr. Tony Skinner, who taught choir here for many years and passed away on April 21, 2025. Before he passed, Mr. Skinner told Mr. Phelps he’d be at every concert, and Mr. Phelps promised to always save him a seat.
Last night, that promise was honored with a photo and a reserved sign, and Mr. Skinner’s daughter even joined the band on French horn. We’ll continue this tradition at future concerts as a small way to remember Mr. Skinner and the lasting impact he had on our school.

Anyone who wishes to renew or purchase an ad on our video board for the 2025-2026 basketball season can email Kristi Lindley at klindley@hartshorne.k12.ok.us. Ads are $100 and can be invoiced.

💚 National Grinch Day celebrated TOMORROW at Hartshorne Middle School💚
National Grinch Day is officially celebrated on December 1st and encourages everyone to “grow their hearts three sizes” through reading, giving, and community spirit.
Our Middle School students are invited to join the fun by wearing green or Grinch-themed gear tomorrow and bringing a little extra holiday spirit to the halls!

All caps and gowns must be ordered through the school. Please do not order the cap and gown online. Ordering through the school will save you tax and shipping/handling. The cost of the cap and gown this year is $50.00, and this does include the tassel. Please make a check or money order payable to Hartshorne Public Schools. If paying in cash, exact change is required. Payment is due by January 15th, 2026. If you would like extra tassels, Class of 2025 clothing or memorabilia, graduation announcements, etc., you may purchase those items online from Jostens. They are getting closer to the finish line!
