HS Band Summer Rehearsal Schedule:
Monday, 7/28 - 8am-4pm
Tuesday, 7/29 - 8am-4pm
Wednesday, 7/30 - 8am-Noon
Thursday, 7/31 - 8am-4pm
*Specific daily schedules to be released later.
We will meet on Monday morning at 8:00 a.m. in the band room - please plan to be a few minutes early so we can start on time. If you own and use your own instrument, please bring it with you.
We will spend most of the four mornings outside, weather permitting, so please plan ahead. Students should plan on wearing school-appropriate light-colored clothing (no tank tops, crop tops, etc.). Jeans, hoodies, and dark colored or heavy clothing are STRONGLY discouraged. Please also bring any sunscreen, hats, sunglasses, or any other necessary sun protection.
Water will be available all four days, but students are welcome to bring their own. Energy drinks and sodas are highly discouraged. Any Gatorades or similar drinks will be on your own if desired.
Lunch will be provided on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, so students will not need to leave campus for food. Wednesday rehearsal will end at Noon.
HS Band students who need to enroll on a specific day Tuesday through Thursday of that week will be released from rehearsal no later than 10:30 am on the day their grade’s enrollment takes place.
These rehearsals are required - please plan on attending all four days for the benefit of the band, as well as for the individual. Students who miss summer band rehearsals will be responsible for catching up on what they have missed once school starts.
