Students at elementary, middle school, and high school will be dismissed and buses will run at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, December 15. (Buses will run at regular times today through Wednesday.)

Thursday, December 15th MS basketball games scheduled with Red Oak have been postponed and will be rescheduled to a later date.

Reminder:
There will be no After School Program ~ MELLO this week (Dec. 12-16). Program will resume Wednesday, Jan. 4th.

The Band/Choir Christmas Concert is Monday, December 12 at 6 p.m. in the High School Auditorium. Come out and support these talented students!

HS Basketball Pick & Shovel Classic - Dec. 8-10



The HS basketball games scheduled for tomorrow night (12/6) have been canceled and will be rescheduled for a later date.

Congratulations to Hannah Cervantes and Jessah Horstman for making the All Region Cheer! They will go on to tryout for All State next week at Washington High School in Norman.


It takes a lot of work to make our middle school/high school Thanksgiving dinner a success! Thank you to Jennifer Moseley (food service director), Jessica Miller, Charlotte Howry, Will Swindle, and Keri Elston for all of your hard work! They serve our students every day with a smile.

Brodie Eddy and Tory Mason represented Hartshorne FCCLA at the Oklahoma SE3 District STAR event competitions at KTC in McAlester today. Brodie placed 3rd in Professional Presentation. Tory placed 2nd in Creed Speaking and will advance to regionals in January. Brodie took time Tuesday morning to visit with the 4th grade Hartshorne Elementary students about "Standing Against Bullying" before making his presentation at the district competition. Great job students and Mrs. Lindley!

Hartshorne High School student Brooklyn Autrey, along with Lakewood Christian School student Jenessa Dugger, spoke to Hartshorne 4th and 5th grade elementary students about the Oklahoma 4-H organization today. Brooklyn Autrey also presented a speech on bullying and the importance of treating others with respect and kindness. Great job ladies!

The Hartshorne Miners will be hosting the Woodland Cougars on Friday, November 11th at 7pm at Butler-Jennings Stadium for the 1st round of the state football playoffs. For this Friday's game, the OSSAA is allowing veterans and 1 additional guest to be admitted FREE of charge.

Members of the Hartshorne Marching Miners competed at the All-District Band Contest in Durant on Saturday, November 5. Based on their auditions, several students have now qualified to participate in the Honor Band Clinic and Concert in January. Congratulations to Ms. Rosso and the following students: Jay'Vion Proctor, Dallas Green, Nolan Tucker, Tennyson Wilcox, Savannah Guteirrez-Keel, Cicilia Wilson, and Adrian Peevy.
