SCHEDULING UPDATE HPS will be using a Snow Day on Tuesday (3/7) to allow students and staff the ability to attend the 2A State Basketball Tourn in OKC. The Lady Miners will take on Amber-Pocasset at 4:30pm at State Fair Arena. We will resume our regular schedule on Wed (3/8).

BASKETBALL PLAYOFF UPDATE Students in grades 6-12 who dress in Hawaiian attire AND sit in the STUDENT SECTION behind the bench will have their admission paid. Students will need to sign in at the Wilburton Gym with Mr Hendrix or Mrs Green between 5:15-6:15 to cover your ticket.

Parents who wish to pick up their child/children from the After School Programs due to the upcoming weather conditions may do so at any time. Please notify the office when you arrive. If weather warnings are issued, students at the MS will go to the Hartshorne Event Center and ES Students will go to the ES Library.

PLAYOFF BASKETBALL The Lady Miners will take on the Preston Lady Pirates at 6pm this Friday in the Area Finals at Wilburton HS. If you can't make it to the game it will be live-streamed on NFHS Network.

WEATHER UPDATE The Hartshorne Event Center will be open as a STORM SHELTER at 10:05pm. PCEM has informed us that severe straight line winds and possible tornadoes in our area will be possible.

We are still having problems with our phones and cannot receive calls or call out. We are working on a solution.

The regional basketball tournament is being hosted here at the Event Center from Feb. 23-25. Gates will open 45 minutes before the 1st game of each session. Session1 will open at 12:45 pm, Session 2 will open at 5:15 pm. Boys play at 3 pm and Girls at 6 pm on Thursday. Band Bingo fundraiser is tonight at the high school cafeteria. Doors open at 5pm, games begin at 6pm. It’s $20 for 20 game cards, prizes for every game. Game card for the Grand Prize (2 tickets to see Journey and Toto) are $5. Walking tacos and other concessions will be available.

The Basketball District Tournament is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 18th here at the Event Center. The girls game begins at 6 pm and the boys will follow at 7:30 pm. This is an OSSAA playoff game, so the only FREE entries will be those who have an OSSAA issued playoff pass. School IDs, Season Passes, and all other passes are NOT valid for the playoffs.
