PARENTS - We have been instructed by the State Department of Education to evaluate and address issues with keeping students safe at school.  The Northward Elementary has several new procedures in place for dropping off and picking up students.  The JH and HS building has new locked door policies and have also addressed issues with students being checked out through the normal school day.  We encourage parents/guardians to make themselves familiar with the changes that will impact them and their children by talking with their students or calling the appropriate office.  It is understood that some of these policies may be inconvenient, but we are focusing on student safety as a top priority.  We ask for your patience as we implement these new measures.

It’s that time again!  Summer is here but that doesn’t mean some students won’t have the opportunity to improve Reading skills.  Hartshorne Elementary school is providing a Summer Reading Academy for some of our students.  Students who have finished Kindergarten thru the 3^rd grade at Hartshorne Elementary School can participate in the Summer Reading Academy.  The dates for the academy are Monday June 3, 2013 thru Thursday June 27, 2013.  Students will attend Monday thru Thursday each week.  They will not attend on Fridays.  The time for instruction is 8:00-12:00.  There is no need to enroll, just be at the elementary school at 8:00 the first day.  If you have any other questions call 918-297-2345.

Pre-Kindergarten Enrollment (Period 1) will be held May 20-24 at Hartshorne Elementary.
