We have been receiving updates from the State Department of Education concerning the Coronavirus and the precautions we should be taking at a district level. If you/your child(ren) have plans to travel over Spring Break you need to be aware of the procedures that must be followed upon your return.
If you travel to China, South Korea, Italy, Iran, Japan, or any other Level 2 or 3 countries (as identified by the Centers for Disease Control) you must self quarantine for a period of 14 days before returning to school.
If you are traveling over Spring Break and have questions, please contact the school. If circumstances arise after you return, please contact your building principal or Mr. Lindley before sending your child/children to school. This situation is very fluid and new countries are being added to the CDC list as they are determined to be a risk. This means your situation could change between now and the time we return from Spring Break. We will follow the recommendations of the State Department of Education and the CDC to make sure we are protecting our students and staff from the spread of this disease.
I recommend you check this link for more information on travel and how it may impact your trip.
